Four new studio recordings by Robert Plant with his band Saving Grace and singer and multi-instrumentalist Suzi Dian will be released for Record Store Day (April 18). 3500 copies of Saving Grace: All That Glitters… with Suzi Dian are pressed for a worldwide release.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have joined forces for a new album, Raise the Roof, the long overdue follow-up of their 2007 collaboration Raising Sand. Rock, roots and soulful country are once again in the mix, their voices singing together in uncanny harmony. All covers, safe for the Plant/T. Bone Burnett song High and Lonesome. The first single is their take on the Lucinda William classic Can't Let Go, with Williams herself helping out on backing vocals.

Robert Plant has shared another track from his new album Carry Fire. It's a cover of the Ersel Hickey classic Bluebirds Over the Mountain, featuring rather unremarkable guest vocals by Chrissie Hynde.
The new Robert Plant album Carry Fire will be released on October 13 via Nonesuch Records. It'shis 11th album as a solo artist. Lead single The May Queen, a mid-tempo acoustic song with an early Seventies folk vibe, can be streamed on YouTube. Among the album's tracks is a cover of Bluebirds Over The Mountain (Richie Valens, Beach Boys), with Chrissie Hynde on vocals.

Robert Plant has confirmed a 15-date North American tour. Beginning January 18 in Asheville, NC, this will be the first tour on these shores since the release of his latest album, Band of Joy. The touring band will once again be the same that made the record: Patty Griffin, vocals; Darrell Scott, multi instrumentalist/vocals; Byron House, bass/vocals; Marco Giovino, drums and percussion/vocals, and co-producer Buddy Miller, guitar/vocals.
