2000 copies worldwide on 200-gram audiophile vinyl, with a recording of 21st Century Schizoid Man in Central Park as a bonus track.
Beat, the supergroup that bring 80s King Crimson to Europe next year, have added a show in Zamek W Ćmielowie in Poland. Adrian Belew (guitar, vocals), Steve Vai (guitar), Tony Levin (bass) and Danny Carey (drums) will be performing @ Stratocastle on July 17.

At long last: King Crimson have posted the footage of their concert at the Alabamahalle in Munich, Germany on September 29, 1982. It has been circulating among collectors for decades. Robert Fripp (guitar), Bill Bruford (drums), Adrian Belew (vocals, guitar) and Tony Levin (Chapman stick, bass, and vocals) were promoting the Beat album.

Watch Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew perform the Talkng Heads album Remain in Light in full @ Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2022 in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA on October 1st. Thye opened with the Heads's debut single Psycho Killer and inserted a cover of King Crimson's Thela Hun Ginjeet.
The core band - Harrison, Belew, bass player Julie Slick and percussionist Yahuba Garcia-Torres, was joined on stage by former Turkuaz members. That NYC funk rock band ceased to exist in November 2021, citing musical differences. A 2021 tour with Belew and Harrison was cancelled after a couple of shows, because of the pandemic.

The eagerly awaited KingCrimson documentary In The Court of the Crimson King wil have its worldf premier @ SXWS in Austin, TX in March. Directed by Toby Amies the film hopes to shed some light on the creative process and internal dynamics within this long-running progressive band, with founder member and band leader Robert Fripp as the instigator and keeper of the flame throughout it 50 years existence.
Drummer Bill Bruford has launched his own YouTube channel. Happily retired as a performing artist he plans to share clips from his days being on the road with Genesis, Yes, AWBH, Earthworks and of course King Crimson. He posted an appearance of the band playing Elephant on the cheesy US TV late night show Fridays in 1982 as well as a couple of tracks performed live in Munich, Germany. The Belew, Bruford, Fripp and Levin line-up almost msde it to the mainstream after they had released the Discipline album in 1981, but the general public shied away pretty quickly.

Featuring a new Dolby Atmos mix by Steven Wilson, 6 CDs' worth of session material on CD & Blu-Ray for the first time (fully mixed by David Singleton), a further disc of newly compiled studio material, the box also includes the original studio album, every alternate take known to exist, every mix known to exist, all live recordings known to exist & a selection of pre/Crimson 1968 recordings.

When I first was asked to join the group, it was a culmination of all sorts of things musically and ambition-wise. It was difficult not to acknowledge the 13-year-old boy in me who'd seen the band at Watford Town Hall back in 1971. In the ‘80s, I looked back somewhat cynically at that moment and thought of it as a kind of rather over-romanticized ideal that I'd witnessed this group and experienced some magic that had somehow changed my life. Then I got to the age I am now and you know what? It really did change my life and here I am in the midst of that music. That music that made me want to become a professional musician in the first place. It was difficult to escape the shadow of that experience when I first joined King Crimson. It was also difficult to escape the shadow of the enormity of the task I had decided to take on. I remember Robert saying to me at one point, "Be careful what you wish for."
One-man band Daniel Huffman, aka New Fumes, and The Flaming Lips team up for a rendition of Moonchild, of the King Crimson debut album In The Court of the Crimson King. Recorded in the Dome Home in Dallas, TX and at Pink Floor studio, OKC, OK in August 2012. The album wil be covered in full, with Stardeath & White Dwarfs as a third partner.
