Singer Tom Adriaenssens is plays the part of a speaker at a "Global Disaster Avoidance Convention"", spitting out the lyrics on top of a slice of catchy noise rock, with plenty of unexpected breaks to confuse the dancers at their live shows. Post-producer Senne Driesen worked his ass off to make it look like a 4th gen VHS-tape. Tom Adriaenssen is an introvert, who would like to hit the dance floor with reckless abandon. That will never happen, but he can come alive on stage and work a crowd, which is actually a lot harder to do.

It is a slow burner that takes its time to show its full power. Psychedelic post-rock gives way to mix of pop and metal and vice versa. Intense but accessible. Belgian noise rockers The Guru Guru have posted a live video of them barreling thru the loud and abrasive Delaware, a track from their forthcoming new full-length Point Fingers (out on January 30). Inspired by the greenkey scene from Wayne's World, they get mad about the lack of real emotions and being in a place that nothing to offer. Adventure and excitement always happen somewhere else, or so it seems.
