Lenny Kaye @ BorderKitchen in The Hague - November 18, 2021

Guitarist and rock historian Lenny Kaye talked about his new book Lightning Striking - Ten Transformative Moments in Rock & Roll @ BorderKitchen in The Hague - November 18, 2021. He picked nine cities and own country that birthed a landmark change in music: Memphis, 1954. New Orleans 1957. Philadelphia 1959. Liverpool, 1962. San Francisco 1967. Detroit 1969. New York, 1975. London 1977. Los Angeles 1984. Norway 1993. Seattle 1991.

He does not care about genres, but pigeonholing music comes in handy when trying to describe it. He brought out his guitar to perform his song World Book Night.
