Chicago based indie quartet The Embryos are trying to get in touch with a friend who had partied a little to hard on their new single, The Tone, urging him to get in touch and leave a voicemail: "Please come back / I’m a wreck // I don’t feel I’ll make it on my own // Please come home // I’m alone // Leave a message when you hear // The sound of the tone". Changes are that it won't help, but this slice of happy sad power-pop is relatable for anyone who is worrying about the well-being of a close friend.
