The story pf Led Zeppelin has been told countless times, but the new Whole Lotta Love documentary is the first one to be approved by the three surviving band members. It will cover the band's early years, the raise to fame and the recording of the first two albums. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones sat down with director Bernard MacMahon for new interviews, while john Bonham's perspective is told through archival footage.
By their endorsement they haver control over the final product, so well-informed nitpicking about their habit of "lending" other peoples songs will likely be absent. A distribution deal is sought after at the Cannes Festival in France,
