A new documentary about Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards will be broadcasted on BBC2 on July 23rd. Directed b Julien Temple Keith Richards - The Origin Of The Species focuses on his formative years and the transition of a choirboy singing in front of the Queen at Westminster Abbey to a blues fan.
Richards will also curate a lost weekend on BBC4:
Richards’s weekend of programmes for BBC4 will feature two nights of shows hand-picked by the man himself, the first time the BBC4 schedules have been taken over in this way, each introduced by the guitarist.
