On December 9, 2004 John Cale performed at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He played with Mark Deffenbaugh (acoustic guitars, banjo, harmonica) and Deantoni Parks (drums, samples). The show was webcasted by the now defunct fabchannel.com, but is now available again on YouTube. Zen, Style It Takes, Heartbreak Hotel and Mercenaries (Ready For War) were released as the "Amsterdam Suite" on the Circus Live album in 2007.

100% of net proceeds from all concert and merchandise sales will be directed to the Divided Sky Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to addiction recovery, and the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program in Ludlow, VT. Conceived of and founded by Trey Anastasio and program director Melanie Gulde, The Divided Sky Residential Recovery program gives hope to those struggling with addiction by providing a safe, nurturing environment to begin their recovery journey.

Phish will be playing two shows (August 25-26) at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, NY to raise funds for flood recovery efforts in their home state Vermont. Both shows will be offered as free webcast via YouTube and LivePhish.com. Viewers can donate while they are watching. All net proceeds will be donated to The WaterWheel Foundation’s 2023 Flood Recovery Fund.

Jazz fusion prog rock trio The Aristocrats will offer a pay-per-view live stream from their show @ Reggie’s in Chicago on August 20 via Zuma Live. This is first for the band who are in the habit of asking their audience to turn of their smartphones and enjoy the show:
This is a total first for us, we’re excited about it, and there are a lot of good reasons why we felt as a band that this was the right time. First off, it’s super high quality audio and video, at a venue we know and love – Reggie’s – with Zuma Live who has done many successful high profile livestream shows. Second, we had to cancel our El Paso and Albuquerque shows on this tour due to COVID issues, and other folks couldn’t come to other shows for the same reason, so hopefully everyone affected by this unprecedented situation can check this out and see the actual tour show. Third, it’s been two years since we’ve been to Europe and six years since we’ve been to Asia or South America. We have a lot of fans around the world and it’s been difficult to get there lately, for obvious reasons. So we wanted to share our live show with them before next year – they’ve waited long enough!

Vermont jam band Phish have been forced to move their New Year's Run @ Madison Square Garden in New York to April next year, but there will be a New Year's Eve show that will be broadcasted for free:
Phish will perform three full sets this New Year’s Eve, LIVE from the Ninth Cube. The show will be performed without an audience and will be webcast for free on Phish’s YouTube channel and LivePhish.com, with a simulcast on Phish Radio on SiriusXM. Phish will take the stage promptly at 8:30PM ET on December 31st. This show is part of Phish's Dinner And A Movie series, and so there shall be dinner! The recipes were chosen by the band and feature Trey’s own recipe for Lemonade, a Whole Roasted Chicken with Lemon, a Lemon Pasta vegetarian entrée, and for dessert: Lemon Bars.
