Cover Me: Cars Trucks Buses

UK funk quartet The New Mastersounds cut a cover of the Phish instrumental Cars Trucks Buses during the recording sessions for their latest album Made For Pleasure. It did not make it unto the record, but the band shared it as a free download via Live For Live Music. Six minutes of keyboards driven energy funk.

The New Mastersounds: Fall tour dates

UK funk jammers The New Mastersounds have announced their Fall tour. They will be on the road in the USA and Japan. The quartet the support act for the Tedeschi Trucks Band on NYE in San Francisco. In January they are part of the floating festival Jam Cruise.

The New Mastersounds: Spanish tour dates

UK funk jammers The New Mastersounds fly to Spain to play a string of club dates. They will be road testing new material, half of which has vocals by the band themselves, a departure from their instrumental approach. There have been vocals in the past, but then they always brought in a guest singer to take of that.
