Punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls will be on tour in Europe and North America. It has been a while since singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Brian Viglione hit the stage for a lengthy tour, but now that their 2006 album Yes, Virginia… has been re-recorded in full - they named it "tailors version" - the time is right again.

These are our first shows in the UK/Europe in TWELVE YEARS and these are the only shows we’re doing - no other UK/Euro dates are being added. there are 3,000 spaces per night and tickets will vanish.

Halloween and the act of transforming yourself outwardly to strut your inner, totem-animal are in the very life blood of The Dresden Dolls. From the very first time we played the Paradise in autumn 2003 for our debut album release, we called on our fans and friends to come dressed to the nines for the occasion, and soon it spread worldwide via our most spunky followers in The Brigade. It's a perfect time to celebrate the Ruby Red 40th Anniversary of this classic Boston rock venue, and the 14th Band-iversary of the cities stripiest duo.

This night marked the first invitation to the fans to don costumes for the occasion to heighten their sense of fun and involvement as part of the show, which soon evolved into The Brigade. This became an international network of creative fans, friends, and performers who added a vibrant new dimension to the world of The Dresden Dolls. A community which grew across the globe, that collaborated on videos, album artwork, acrobatics, group outings, and performances art of all kinds. But in the beginning, it was the small collective of artists in the Boston area who banded together to bring Punk Cabaret to the world. This is dedicated to them.
