Revived English rock band Tarot dusted off a track they started working on in 1990. The Rain is a slow moving, melancholic song, with the guitars setting up conversation as mother nature is drowning the world in tears and finds a way into the house through a broken window pane. It is another taste from their forthcoming full-length Volume One.
Way back in 1984 four young English hopefuls started a band called Tarot, enjoying a bit of success on the live circuit before calling it quits. Fast forward to January 2025 and the original line-up (Mcinnes, Snelson, Hills & Benfield) reconnected. They revisited some songs from the good old days, which sparked the interest to write some new stuff as well. A full album will see the light of day in January and if lead single Seppuku is an indication of what's in store for that, it is a release to look forward to.
