Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: new album "Live God" in December
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release Live God on December 5. It features all the tracks from their latest studio album Wild God, plus a couple of choice cuts from their back catalog. Available as a 2LP, 2CD and the usual digital formats. They posted a video of Wild recorded at the Accor Arena in Paris on November 17, 2024.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have shared Long Dark Night, another single from their new album, Wild God. It is a powerful ballad, inspired by the mystic poem Dark Night of the Soul by the Spanish 16th-century priest St. John of the Cross. Cave:
'Long Dark Night' is inspired by one of the greatest and most powerful poems of conversion ever written. Ultimately, though, it's a beautiful country tune. It feels like a sweet companion to the song, 'Wild God'.

A new Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds album, Wild God will hit the shops on August 30. The title track is up on all the usual digital streaming services. They go all out, with the Seeds acting as a choir:
I hope the album has the effect on listeners that it’s had on me. It bursts out of the speaker, and I get swept up with it. It’s a complicated record, but it’s also deeply and joyously infectious. There is never a masterplan when we make a record. The records rather reflect back the emotional state of the writers and musicians who played them. Listening to this, I don’t know, it seems we’re happy.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: "Push the Sky Away" 10th Anniversary
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the release of their Push the Sky Away album Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds offer (for a limited time) a live stream of their show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on February 21. The movie was directed by Directed by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard. They performed the album in full in the first set, followed by a set of live favourites. A reissue of the album with this show on Blu-ray as an extra would be nice, but that's not happening.

Nick Cave: "Stranger Than Kindness" Exhibition in Montreal
The Nick Cave exhibition Stranger Than Kindness, first shown in Copenhagen in 2020, has travelled to Montreal. It will be open for the public @ Galerie de la Maison du Festival from April 8 until August 7.
Stranger Than Kindness: The Nick Cave Exhibition is an unprecedented look into the creative world of Nick Cave. With more than 300 objects collected or created by Nick Cave through six decades of his creative and private life brought together in large-scale installations, the exhibition is an artwork in itself. Created for The Black Diamond of The Royal Danish Library in Copenhagen, and with Cave as a co-curator and co-designer, the exhibition is an unorthodox fusion of biography, autobiography and fiction, asking what shapes our lives and makes us who we are.
