French-American dark wave band Deleyaman will join forces again with actress Maruschka Detmers for an evening of music and literature, with Stig Dagerman's essay Notre besoin de consolation est impossible à rassasier as the core of the show, on March 29 @ Le Calibert in Mazet-Saint-Voy. French-American dark wave band Deleyaman have posted a video of their concert in Saint-Valery-en-Caux @ Théâtre Le Rayon Vert on October 4, 2023 as part of the Festival Terres de Paroles. Special guest Maruschka Detmers joined them on stage and recited three chapters. The band played a choice selection of songs from their back catalog, including tracks from The Sudbury Inn, Sentinel and The lover, The stars & The citadel and The Edge.
French-American dark wave band Deleyaman are promoting the release of their latest album The Sudbury Inn with a couple of shows: "By cherry-picking from the classic texts Deleyaman has given them as new lease on life. If only a small percentage of the listeners will hit the bookshops after hearing the album, it is mission accomplished for a band that is not afraid to offer a challenge as a means of showing the beauty of literature by means of carefully crafted music".
