LOGOUT: ΕΔΩ/ΕΚΕΙ

Greek singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT opted to sing all the songs on his new album ΕΔΩ/ΕΚΕΙ (Here/There) in his native language this time. By doing so he was able to connect more fully with his emotions and memories being triggered by places. Psychedelic, lo-fi and the undeniable feelings of loss and love transcend all language barriers.

LOGOUT: "Kite Waltz" video

Singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT has posted a lyrics video for Kite Waltz, a track from his N91° album: With minimalistic electronics gentle swaying throughout N91° is a modern day folk record, a fairy tale an journey rolled into one. (...) It is up to the listener if anything of this actually happened. The record is a true desert island disc, with no set rules, making it impossible to pigeonhole. A bewildering trip through the mindset of a kaleidoscopic musician and poet".

HCTF review of N91°.

May 09, 2019

LOGOUT: N91°

Singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT created a mysterious story line for his new album N91°. The unnamed protagonist finds himself on an island, comes across an unconscious woman, finds a note that says "love me like there’s no tomorrow", but if anything of this is real or just a dream is open to interpretation. He may or may have witnessed a Kite Waltz - a small piece of cloth remains and that could have been part of this toy, there could be a gateway to an alternate reality as described in In Another Life, et cetera, et cetera.

LOGOUT: Bayorsai

Greek singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT shares another piece of the puzzle that makes up the story of a traveller who got stranded a desert island. Bayorsai offers no straight answers to what has actually happened. Βαψορσαι means dance and that the protagonist is likely to be doing, maybe joined by the woman he came across on the previous single Love Me.

Aided by three backing vocalists (Nalyssa, Green, Zoe Lianou, Themistoklis Tsitsos) he spins another mystery by means of dreamy electronics. Intriguing and ambiguous stuff by a modern day pied piper. The accompanying video was made by metaphorms.

LOGOUT: Love Me

Last week HCTF premiered the new LOGOUT video for Love Me. A mysteriouss slice of electronic pop that invites the listener to make sense of it all. "After being stranded on an island he finds a ticket urging him to “love me like there’s no tomorrow". Is it written by that motionless woman who s lying on the beach? Is she still alive? How did he get here? Does that plane ticket imply that he survived a crash? Is it real or is he dreaming?"

HCTF premiere - LOGOUT: "Love Me" video

Singer, songwriter and producer LOGOUT loves to tell stories that make the listener feel slightly uncomfortable. His new single Love Me is no exception. After being stranded on an island he finds a ticket urging him to “love me like there’s no tomorrow". Is it written by that motionless woman who s lying on the beach? Is she still alive? How did he get here? Does that plane ticket imply that he survived a crash? Is it real or is he dreaming?

The video doesn't answer any questions, but it is an intriguing visual companion to his subdued electronic music and falsetto voice. Much more on his forthcoming album N91°, due for release in January on Tiny Room Records.
