The Persian Leaps: High & Vibrate

photo: Jason Larkin

St. Paul, MN indie noise pop trio The Persian Leaps are getting more melodic with each new EP. High & Vibrate. With a new bass player they are inserted a bit of the sound of Dinosaur Jr next to Teenage Fanclub and My Bloody Valentine tidbits.

College rock fans will like the lead single Dottie, Queen of the West. Fior those who prefer a more abrasive sound they offer the ballsy The Infection and the Disney-free, bass heavy Frozen.

The Persian Leaps:
Drew Forsberg: vocals, guitar
Adam Brunner: bass, vocals
Mike McCloskey: drums, vocals

High & Vibrate will be released on September 25 via Land Ski Records. Lead single Dottie, Queen of the West is available as a free download from Soundcloud.

  1. The Infection
  2. Under the Lilacs
  3. Dottie, Queen of the West
  4. Frozen
