Loyal Divide: Labrador EP

Loyal Divide, a quintet from Chicago, sounds like "euphoria with a strawberry-banana smoothie". Or so they say. In fact it's more like an electronica outfit that likes to twiddle all the knobs on their instruments, coming up with left-field noises that dig deep and might hurt the ears of the uninitiated. Their Labrador EP is a slow moving musical chainsaw with eerie vocals that wander off into psychedelic pastures.

Kind like a Vanilla Fudge exposed to exhaustive listening to Sonic Youth, Loyal Divide is busy carving a niche for their own with dance inspired drones and beeps that open up a bit wider after each play.
