You Aint No Picasso has ripped four sets of Yo La Tengo covers for a good cause.
The concept is simple enough: if you called in with a donation of $100 or more, you got to request a cover for Yo La Tengo to play on-air. They ranged from the weird and obscure (the Batman theme) to the classic and beautiful (John Lennon’s "Instant Karma"). I'm posting these because they were free to listen to online. But like the annoying announcers (who I have edited out), I'm going to strongly suggest that you make a donation to WFMU.
