Waste: Honey EP

English rock quartet Waste keep rawk alive on their new Honey EP, filled with three unrelenting, pounding songs that should be played loud. The title track zooms in on the mindfuck of tv commercials. The hectic FLP and the slow growler Who's Your New Friend take stabs at the women who have fucked them over. Honey is a showcase of barely contained anger, bursting at the seams with riffs galore.

Waste: Run

English rock quartet Waste assembled a bunch of monster guitar riffs for their new single Run, a mid-tempo song that sounds a lot faster than it actually is. The vocals are way up front in the mix, which is good thing. There is no way the lyrics could have been deciphered otherwise. Recommended if you like Soundgarden and the Queens of the Stone Age.

Waste: Blow

Waste, a rock quartet from Stevenage, have released their debut single Blow, a riff heavy tune. They mix the energy of the Queens of the Stone Age and Wolfmother with quintessentially English bottled anger.

Blow is a self-released single. Buy it (pay-what-you-want) from their website.
