Jason Elliot (film) and Colin Robinson (music) have shared the final video for their six-part series called the Calder Valley Suite, "a love letter to the local area" in West Yorkshire. People So Busy features quite a lot people roaming the streets of Hebden Bridge. Everyone is in a hurry or so it seems, even when they are trying to relax. Robinson's hectic soundtrack is interspersed with slower bits, urging them to look around and enjoy the beauty of their environments.

The first two parts, The Meadow and Keighley Road, are up on Elliot's YouTube Channel. A fine example of pastoral avant-garde with a hint of folk. They have created multimedia postcard from West Yorkshire with a refreshing lack of tourist information. Seeing (and listening!) is believing.

Film-maker Jason Elliott and avant-garde musician Colin Robinson (Jumble Hole Clough, Big Block 454, Churn Milk Joan) captured the beauty of Calder Valley for a short movie that will be shown as part of the 2019 Hebden Bridge Arts Festival:. It will be shown on June 29:

"The Calder Valley Suite" is a collaboration between film-maker, Jason Elliott, and multi-instrumentalist, Colin Robinson and is being premiered at the Hebden Bridge Picture House as part of the 2019 Hebden Bridge Arts Festival.

Each of the six short films focuses on a small element of the local area and has a duration of between 4 and 5 minutes making a total of 28 minutes when run consecutively.
