Itchy Teeth: Brian Wilson Is Still Alive
Most of the musical heroes of retro psychdelic Britpop quartet Itchy Teeth are dead (and when were rather young when they left the planet). The resident genius of the Beach Boys is still here and that inspired them to write Brian Wilson Is Still Alive. He didn't overdose or took off to the great unknown in a silver space ship. He is still creating and experimenting, like a wandering child who got stuck in another time zone and much changed world that he cannot fully understand.
The Londoners wonder what it must be like for an artist, when the general public only wants to hear his prime work that saw the light of day many decades ago. Brian Wilson Is Still Alive is a respectful tribute, but with a sense of humour that gives an edge (or teeth in this case).

Itchy Teeth: Itchy Teeth
Retro Britpop quartet Itchy Teeth cut their the tracks for their self-titled debut album in true old school fashion, recording it mostly live in just one day in Berlin. Relentless touring turned them into a tight unit, with a penchant for Sixties pop. Melody comes first, with strqaightforward rhythm section lying a solid foundation.
It's all been done before, but Itchy Teeth have plenty of swagger and confidence to hold their own. Rock bands have been singing about teenage angst, girls and trying to fit in without selling out for decades. Itchy Teeth honour that tradition, with their blend of The Kinks, The Beatles and The Faces that is unequivocally English. No wonder that Ronnie Wood loves them so much.

Itchy Teeth: Solid Gold Tooth

Retro Britpop quartet Itchy Teeth have made a DIY video for Solid Gold Tooth, a track from their forthcoming debut album (August 14th on Fourtwenty Records. They filmed at the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris (final resting of place of Edith Piaf, Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde). A tongue-in-cheek slow song with plenty of "ooohs" and delicate guitar interaction.

Itchy Teeth: "Time Machine" video
Watch the zero-budget Itchy Teeth video for their debut single Time Machine. The English retro rockers are staring at their phones in front of a non-descript building in Hamburg, Germany. They are cold, bored and tired, quite the opposite of the cheerful message of their single.

Itchy Teeth: Time Machine
Retro Britpop quartet Itchy Teeth pay tribute to the Sixties, travel to Liverpool in the Fifties and much more on their new single Time Machine. Relentless touring has turned them into a tight-knit unit with a knack for catchy melodies and short and sweet guitar solos. Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood thinks they rock and the rest of the world should take his word for it. Pretty soon their days of playing bars will be over. Check 'em out and buy them a beer.
