Good Grief: "High To Low" video

Watch the new Good Grief video for High To Low, a track from their new album Shake Your Faith: "Tackling such diverse subjects as mental health, the Seinfeld episode the The Pony Remark episode, wherein the uttering of a few words evokes all kinds of havoc, the ending of The Empire Strikes Back and much, much more, the trio's main theme is the inability of people to fully understand each other. Miscommunication, false interpretations of body language or just plain ignoring the obvious signals, can lead to anguish, anger and anxiety. So, it is all pretty serious and heavy-handed? Yes and no. They made the wise decision to serve it with a wealth of catchy hooks and a rollicking back beat that takes the edge off a bit".

Good Grief: Shake Your Faith

Liverpudlian slacker-punk trio Good Grief have been at it since 2013, when their first singles saw the light of day, but it has not been smooth sailing since then. Life got in the way, inciting a hiatus of sorts, and when they finally got around recording the tracks for their debut album, Shake Your Faith, things got grounded to a halt again, because of the pandemic. Squeezing in short sessions every now and then, they managed to put on the finishing touches. And for an album that was recorded over such a prolonged period of time, it is a kind of a miracle that it sounds like a collection of songs that were put to tape in a couple inspired takes.

Good Grief: The Pony Remark

Liverpudlian slacker-punk trio Good Grief have mastered the art of fuzzy lo-fi rock on their new single The Pony Remark, a track inspired by the Seinfeld episode, wherein the uttering of a few words evokes all kinds of havoc. Performed at breakneck speed, they manage to keep it all together for what best described as a shot of high quality adrenaline that will keep the listener's ears ringing and buzzing with joy. The track will be included on their forthcoming album Shake Your Faith. The video was made by Sohrab.

Will Fitzpatrick: guitar, vocals
Paul Abbott: bass, vocals
