Finnish quirky pop duo Fun With Muesli stumbled upon vintage, borderline cheesy keyboard sounds and used them to set the tone for their new single Starving Heart. Aki (vocals, keys, drums) and Henri (guitar) make heartbreak sound like fun, making it a dead ringer for summer solace playlists. Take note of the nifty guitar, not quite in tune but o so efficient.

Aki and Henri are Fun With Muesli, a Finnish alt-pop indie who must have been listening to The Beatles and Wilco religiously. Their debut EP Houseboat is filled with four melancholic songs, with piano and twin guitars as the prominent instruments.
Gentle and introspective tunes performed in an off-hand way - it's obvious they are capable of writing smart old school pop songs, with enough twist and turns to fill a small notebook. And just when the listener is under the assumption that quiet is the new loud again, they bring the EP to a close with a bit of guitar that sounds a lot like The Velvet's Hey Mr. Rain.
