Dési Ducrot: Strong Hearted Woman

It's been awhile for Dési Ducrot to release something new. Her new single Strong Hearted Woman is a mix of electronics and country - with a shout out to Stand By Your Man to show her respect. Ducrot always finds a way to pair genres that are considered to be miles apart. If the rest of the songs she is currently working on for her new album, it will be at least as good as her debut In Too Deep.

Dési Ducrot: In-store @ Concerto in Amsterdam

Dési Ducrot will perform an in-store @ Concerto in Amsterdam on July 22 to promote her debut album In Too Deep:

This is a singer who exactly knows where she is going, heading down the back roads. Buckle up for a inner journey with plenty of sights. Some of them are scary, some of them are sad, but none of them are boring. She is a singer who can take on the home team on her next trip across the big pond.

Dési Ducrot: In Too Deep

Dutch singer Dési Ducrot goes all out on her debut album In Too Deep. Her obvious admiration for Gillian Welch and Lucinda Williams put her in the Americana niche, but doesn't snub at orchestral pop and in-your-face beats. With a powerful voice, country twang included, the album is the dairy of a lengthy road trip in the States. Being away from home and surrounded by the music she loves, she came to terms withe he bigger and smaller things that were bothering her.
