Biscuithead and the Biscuit Badgers: Thought Porridge

Leeds based vaudevillian party folkies Biscuithead and the Biscuit Badgers have been providing fun times to almost all ages with off-kilter songs about insects and dinosaurs and much, much more. Their new albums tips it hat at the people who make the cakes and bread (When We Were Bakers) and takes away the fear for full-size trains by scaling them down and cleaning them up while they are at it (Model Railway).

Quintessentially English English like The Kinks and The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band they can whip up a song about pretty much anything. The misunderstood Venus Flytrap is no longer a scary plant after their reappraisal. And while they are on the subject of plants: it's actually cool to join a botany loving outfit like The British Cactus & Succulent Society Their Mournful Colouring Book comes with one black pen and depicts smoking babies and one-legged animals. And why not? People get tired of rainbows, unicorns, puppies, kittens, flowers and charming dilapidated cottages.
