Rock band Florida were so busy making the guitars on their new single University Dropout Blues sound nasty in a 80s post-glam kind of way that they forgot to take care of the vocals which got buried too deep in the mix. That is a shame, because it takes away of the ennui of the slacker flavoured lyrics. Back to school for some mixing classes can easily fix this.
University Dropout Blues is a self-released single. Buy it from their website. It is the lead single for their upcoming Beach Metal EP.
