A second taste from the box set that takes a deep dive into the material of from Axis Bold As Love album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience has hit the streaming services. Take 30 of Burning Of The Midnight Lamp is a 101 of that Hendrix could achieve by sculpting sounds, decades before a wealth of effects and plug-ins would become widely available.
The Bold as Love box set will be released on November 7 - as a 5LP + Blu-Ray, and 4 CDs + Blu-Ray. Pre-order prices vary widely - some are actually insane, but most retailers are coming down a bit, now that the FOMO crowd has dispersed.
