London synth rock band Slaney Bay paint a picture of a night that looked promising at first on their The Long Way Home EP, but ended with making the trip home solo. Unreciprocated attraction once again proves to be a source for serious soul searching.
The tensions and emotions are captured in dark borderline goth music as singer Cait Whitley sings about the signs and events that gave her hope, only to land on Earth again with a soft thud, sitting on her own in a movie theatre that is almost empty.
Slaney Bay:
Cait Whitley: vocals
William-Nicola Thompson: guitar
Joel Martin: bass
Jonny Burraway-Andrews: drums
