English musicians and music geeks extraordinaire Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness have posted the first two episodes about 1978 of their podcast The Album Years. The first one focuses on New Wave (Blondie, Japan), disagree (sort of) about Yes and ELP, next to Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. The second one features "some of the more established guard, including The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, 10cc, Warren Zevon, Elton John, Neil Young, Queen and more". They are not done with this year yet. One more episode coming soon.
