A new Jimi Hendrix box set, Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision, will be available as a 5LP/Blu-ray and 3CD/Blu-ray. Most of the tracks were recorded @ Electric Lady Studios in New York. The Blu-ray's track listing looks a lot like First Rays of the New Rising Sun, the posthumous compilation that was released in 1997.
The box set was listed on Amazon (the pack shot is still up), with a March 25 release date, but it got pulled, most likely because Experience Hendrix and Sony have yet to make an official announcement.
