Future Kult: Hidalgo

Sion Trefor and Benjamin Zombori travelled to Mexico to workshop the songs for the debut album of their Future Kult project. The album's lead single, Hidalgo, was inspired by the city where they had set up shop. It tells a folk tale of sorts about a masked hero, who stumbles on a battered VHS that may provide some clues. Post-rock meets dance with twisted Krautrock-inspired drum parts. The video was shot the Mexican desert landscape outside its namesake town.

Hidalgo is a self-released single. Buy it from their website. The album will be released on February 11 via Action Wolf Records/AWAL.
