English duo Dirty Nice have a knack for upbeat sad songs. Their new single, Giving Up, is basically about not worrying too mcuh about things and go with the flow. Charlie Pelling and Mark Thompson are like musical magpies, using elements of bubble gum pop, art rock, emo and New Wave. It is debatable if they are actually serious, but that doesn't matter. If anything, they are highly entertaining.
Their debut album Lobster will be released on October 1st via Chiverin.
