The Slasher 2021 is avant-garde piece of music, created by Senga Etna, a collaboration between Edward Capel, Johnny Dowd, Brian Wilson, Agnes De Haan, and Rik van Iersel. The latter also made the animated video. It is a mix of free jazz, musique concrète and a bit of the German Schlager Schön ist es auf der Welt zu sein, a cheesy song that was a big hit for Roy Black and child prodigy Anita in 1971.
