Joe Normal goes solo on his new single We Are The Normal, playing all the instruments on a pleading blue-collar rocker with slowed down middle-eight. B-side U Say is a lot faster, a showcase for the various guitars he owns. Both songs question the new normal, but blaming it on the media is bit naive to put it mildly. All politics aside his advice to consider the consequences for the less fortunate is heartfelt. Also: using rock as a bullhorn is a lot nicer and far more enjoyable as such than an actual call to arms.
