Rotterdam based folk noir band The Bullfight have announced a new multimedia endeavour, L'étranger Noir, the follow-up for their critically acclaimed Eggs & Marrowbone - The art of the Murder Ballad project.
L'étranger Noir pays tribute to the films, posters and books of the 1940s and 1950s about murky detectives, corrupt cops, femmes fatale, sex, violence and betrayal. The band invites other artists to contribute short stories, paintings, and poems. They will write a new album that will be released via Brandy Alexander Recordings as part of a package with a book and art prints.
