Radiohead puts archived "OK Computer" recordings up for sale after hack

After being hacked Radiohead put 18 hours of archived OK Computer recording up for sale on Bandcamp as a respones to the ransom the thief hoped to collect. From The Guardian:

Radiohead have released a vast collection of unreleased tracks made during the sessions for 1997 album OK Computer, after a MiniDisc archive owned by frontman Thom Yorke was hacked last week by an unnamed person, who reportedly asked for a $150,000 ransom to return the recordings.

The 18 hours of music will take 1.8GB of disk space, with a suggested price of £18 GBP or more. All proceeds got to Extinction Rebellion. The sale ends after 18 days from now. Singer Thom Yorke posted this short explanation:

we’ve been hacked my archived mini discs from 1995-1998(?) it’s not v interesting there’s a lot of it

if you want it, you can buy the whole lot here 18 minidisks for £18 the proceeds will go to Extinction Rebellion

as it’s out there it may as well be out there until we all get bored and move on

An in-depth fan made Google Doc tells the back story of these recordings.
