The Decemberists will be on the road to promote their new album I’ll Be Your Girl, whiuch has been hailed as a return to form for the literate indie rockers. Plus there is the unexpected by very enjoyable addition of the smart use of synths.
On August 4-5 the band will host the second edition of their own festival Travelers’ Rest @ Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheatre in Missoula, MT. Other confirmed artists: Death Cab For Cutie, Jeff Tweedy, Mavis Staples, Tune-Yards, Whitney, Parquet Courts, Tinariwen, I’m With Her, Waxahatchee and Lucy Dacus.
