The World Of Dust: Womb Realm

Dutch indie musician Stefan Breuer strikes again with a new album by his The World Of Dust project. Womb Realm is a dreamlike journey through laidback, lo-fi progrock. He recorded the basic tracks in his own studio and sent out the files to Todd Tobias, who kindly supplied the arrangements as well as taking care of the keys and percusssion.

Breuer's voice is just a notch above a whisper and he added colour by inviting wealth of guest singers, including Thijs Kuijken (I Am Oak), Julien Pras (Mars Red Sky) and Helen Ferguson (Queen of the Meadow). Tthe eight songs grew into sad short stories that sound familiar somehow. Breuer sings that he is trying "to find a way without mistakes" (Wilderness)) and as a composer he has come pretty damn close to achieving that feat. Serious speakers recommended to fully appreciate the textures and subtleties.

Stefan Breuer: guitar, bass & vocals
Todd Tobias: keyboards & percussion

Perry Owen Wright: Space Mountain
Toby Goodshank: Peach
Matthew Swann: Gold & Silver
Anneke Nieuwdorp: Gospel
Thijs Kuijken: Return of the King
