Elevation Falls: Origins

Looking for some fresh over the top passionate rock? Dublin quintet Elevation Falls are unleashing a bunch of arena ready songs on their new album Origins. Lead singer and resident songwriter Hazel Jade Rogers is only 19, but she has the confidence of a seasoned veteran.

Their songs follow the same pattern mostly: a gentle beginning leading up a mass of rock guitar peaks and loud vocals. The sounds of the late Seventies and early Eighties are in full force with this band, with nods to Tom Petty and Heart. Bryan Adam's Run To You solo is hinted at in Lately.

Elevation Falls won't go down in history as musical inventors, but they are perfectly capable to deliver a nice show filled with mainstream melodic rock songs. If they are lucky the crowd might notice that the lyrics deal with the state of the economy and war-stricken countries. They don't wear it on their sleeve as much, but the subtle messages might seep through.
