With two singles to their name LA indie duo Naked Pistol peddles a catchy brand of dance rock with just a hint of grunge. Michelangelo Corrente has a hoarse voice that can get angry Lead guitarist Matthew Shore is in love with his fuzz box, but his tone is pretty clear.
For a duo with two guitarists changes are that they would get into each others way, but it works out fine. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Silhouette with its tugging, menacing backbeat is their best song to date. Going Down will be appreciated by the powerpop crowd - "Woo-hoo-hoo" included. They are releasing an EP later this month.
