NYC indie rock band Gladshot have contributed songs to the indie rock musical Barcode. The story line is pretty basic sci-fi fodder: one corporation controls everything on the planet, and the powers that be are pretty paranoid about the contents of music. Boy meets girl, start a revolution and there might be a Hollywood ending. The band shares their song Corporate Safe + Secure, a lo-fi rock song with a nice hook that gets stuck in your head.
Barcode is up for a 3-night run @ New York City’s Bowery Electric Sept 30th, Oct 1st, and Oct 2nd.
