In Concert: Leftover Salmon 2007/09/02 Aspen, CO

Believe it or not, but narrow-minded people still think that you can't get a groove going with a banjo. Leftover Salmon is a high energy band that has been on the road since 1989, bringing their "Polyethnic Cajun Slamgrass" to anyone who cares to listen. Last year they played a raging set in Aspen, Colorado, including a touching tribute to the father of all folk music Woodie Guthrie and the Stones classic Let It Bleed. The best track by far however is Railroad Highway with its by great keyboard touches and gutsy guitar parts. If you like albums like Live at the Fillmore East, this one is for you. The show was pro-recorded and can be bought from Festivalink.net.
