Tommy will be released on DVD in june. Two discs loaded with extra's:
- Full-length film commentary by Ken Russell, moderated by Mark Kermode.
- New interview with Pete Townshend (56 minutes)
- New interview with Roger Daltrey (18 minutes)
- New interview with Ken Russell (20 minutes)
- New Interview with Ann-Margret (10 minutes)
- Featurette on the sound restoration by original technical personnel, including Terry Rawlings, music editor.
- 12-page booklet including 500-word article on Quintaphonic sound by Pete Townshend and 2000-word introduction by Who archivist Matt Kent.
The website promoting the release is a bit sparse as of now.
