Canadian punk rock trio The Dirty Nil have unveiled a video for Zombie Eyed. A girl walking the streets in suburbia get runs down by a car, turns into a zombie and has a lot of fun killing people, until she gets a taste from her own medicine. Run of the mill horror on a shoestring budget, that will some eyebrows among the soccer moms, but otherwise pretty harmless.

The Dirty Nil: Cinnamon
Dunda, ON punk The Dirty Nil will release their new 7" single Cinnamon b/w Guided by Vices on August 19th on Fat Wreck Chords. Singer Luke Bentham can scream like a mad man, but drummer Kyle Fisher is the guy who keeps it all together. They are sharing a stream of the A-side Cinnamon on Soundcloud.

The Dirty Nil: Smite
Most bands release a bunch of songs. Other acts unleash them and set them free upon an unsuspecting world. Rock trio The Dirty Nil firmly fits into the latter category with their Smite EP. They issued two warnings with the singles Nicotine and Wrestle Yü To Hüsker Dü and have added three more high energy tracks on their Smite EP. Howling feedback in Pale Blue, fast basic riffs a la The Damned in Beat and Stooges sneering New Flesh. Garage punk rock is alive and well in Dundas, ON, Canada.

The Dirty Nil: Wrestle Yü To Hüsker Dü
The Dirty Nil play rock and roll. It's a short but accurate bio. Based in Dundas, ON, Canada, the trio plays basic but highly effective songs about girl trouble and ennui. Their latest single Wrestle Yü To Hüsker Dü has the singer ranting that he doesn't care about the other guy, but of course he does. Dirty garage rock was invented for feelings like this.
The song is a forerunner for their Smite EP which will be released on February 18 on white vinyl and cassette.
