Singer and guitarist Katie Bulley has revived The Barettas as a duo with Lauren Small on drums. With a new version of the 2011 single Touché they make clear that things haven't changed that much. Rollicking garage rock with a punk attitude that will get the audience on their feet. Their new album All Is Fair In Love And Rock & Roll will be released on January 29.

The Barettas: "Touché" b/w "Black Sheep" free 7"
Guitar? Check. Bass? Check. Drums? Attitude? Check. Hamilton punk garage trio The Barettas are offering their double A-side 7" for free. "Touché" b/w "Black Sheep" is a gutsy pair of lo-fi rock songs. Katie (vocals/guitar), Kate (bass) and Carly (drums) have a simple philosophy:
There are no trust funds in Hamilton, so each of us has taken on a couple jobs, usually a combination of cleaning houses during the day, and tending bar at night. The reward, and real purpose for these jobs is that it lets us make music and blow off steam at every other possible opportunity.
