Sugar Horse: Not A Sound In Heaven

Sugar Horse

The in-your-face industrial noise rock made by Sugar Horse refuses to be contained. Sure enough, there are plenty of quiet passages om their new album Not A Sound In Heaven , most notably during History's Biggest T-Shirts and You Can't Say Dallas Doesn’t Love You, but their anger about the unfair distribution of wealth comes howling from the speakers pretty much all of time.

The Brighton based quartet is not about just making a racket with a message. Upon closer inspection the music is far more complex. Casual listeners are clearly missing out, while the clientele of independent record stores will have a field day labeling every nook and cranny, collecting all the easter eggs. Not A Sound In Heaven is a pamphlet, a one-fingered salute, by four guys who are playing up storm. Hold tight for a bumpy and captivating ride.

Sugar Horse: Ex-Human Shield

Sugar Horse know how to get mad at injustice. The progressive noise metal band goes all out on their new single Ex-Human Shield, making tough industrial music sound tame in comparison. They could have written a strong-worded letter to the editor of a newspaper, but instead of a pen they picked up an axe to cut down racism and rampant capitilamism, both of which don't give a fuck about injustice and corruption. Like with their previous single Secret Speech they used banned Soviet animation for the video.

Sugar Horse: Secret Speech

Metal with a message. The in-your-face industrial noise rock made by Sugar Horse is quite brutal, but the Bristol based quartet are really angry on their new single Secret Speech, pointing their fingers at all the riches that have been hoarded by the West. Something has gotta give, but for now their frustation about the inequality serves as the fuel for their music. They used banned Soviet animation for the video.

It is a track from their new album, Not A Sound In Heaven, due for release on April 10th via Fat Dracula Records (vinyl, CD, digital).
