After releasing three singles electro psychedelic pop band St Tropez felt confident enough to release their self-titled debut full-length. The deeper cuts don't disappoint, with the soft Afterlife and the echo heavy guitar dry drums in Seasick as the stand-out tracks. It's a genre-crossing gentle album that will appeal to folkies, neo-hippies and triphop fans. No chemical assistance required to go on trip with this Oakland based quintet.

Psychedelic pop band St Tropez have posted a video shot at singer/guitarist Sanjay Vora's painting studio in Oakland, CA. They laid down an acoustic version of their latest single Let Go. The clip was directed by Carlos Marulanda.
Their debut full-length will be released on October 16th. The release party will be held at Leo's in their hometown.

Oakland psychedelic quintet St Tropez go all out on their second single Maybe Nothing. They inserted a bit of triphop and Afrobeat into their electronic set-up, a nice contrast with rocking keyboards and guitar that take over about halfway through the track. It all build up to a proggy heavy guitar finale with the lead singer leading the way. Adventurous rhythms and textures galore, Maybe Nothing has it all.

Dreampop vocals and wavering guitar lines on top of a catchy back beat. Recommended if you like Jacco Gardner and Tame Impala.
