Nicholas Wood follows the mood of the Madchester dance raves of yesteryear on Heat, the new single of his solo project Saccades. A trippy, pulsating backbeat is the core of his neo-psychedelic musings. Escapist stuff, but it is all done in very good taste. If coldwave and post-punk had a baby, it would sound like this. It is the lead single from his new album Flowing Fades, due for release on April 9 via Fuzz Club Records.
