British sitcom Are You Being Served? was a smash in all parts of the Commonwealth and it must have reached the members of Christchurch, New Zealand based rock trio Trouble With Normal as well. The intro voice of that TV show made it unto their new single, but is now announcing horrors - fear, corruption, surveillance, lies and abuse of power - in stead of the goodies on a specific floor of a department store.
They wave the dad rock flag without shame, fully aware that dreaming of burning up the stages of famous venues is a futile exercise. They are in to have fun, but their concerns about the rise of extremism in politics are very real.
