This show was Phish's 96th performance at Madison Square Garden and featured songs from 1996 as well as multiple references to The Clifford Ball: Trey and Mike wore their iconic outfits, and The Harpua narration freed Jimmy from his 30 year prison of vibration above Plattsburgh, NY. Before the show, the light rig approximated the NY Knicks' logo, and Trey wore an Anastasio #96 Knicksjersey for the encore. This show contained multiple bustouts: The Star-Spangled Banner (last played December 28, 2016, or 362 shows), Talk (last played October 13, 2023, or 122 shows), Harpua (last played December 31, 2023, or 116 shows), and Suspicious Minds (last played December 6, 1996, or 1,021 shows). In Axilla (Part II) Trey began the lyrics to part I, said "Wait, we did that one already", and sang part II. In YEM and Crosseyed and Painless, Trey played the mini drum kit. In I Didn't Know Trey introduced Fish as Elvis Presley. Fish teased Buffalo Bill and quoted Suspicious Minds in Crosseyed.
