Frog: Je Ne Sais Pas

The current incarnation of quirky NYC band Frog consists of resident genius Daniel Bateman and his younger brother Steve on drums. The jazzy pop is in full bloom on Je Ne Sais Pas, a hybrid of They Might Be Giants, the Modern Lovers and Billy Joel. It is about getting older and realising that the days of being considered cool are long gone: "Jen I'm appalled that you never called // I was passionate, bald, and enthralled // All of these fuck-ups, sixth floor walk-ups". Bateman is not afraid to make fun of himself, sometimes by proxy, and this vignette bodes well for the upcoming album Frog For Sale, due for release on April 17th.

Je Ne Sais Pas is released via Audio Antihero.
